Pumpkin Patch

We went for a ride up north on a beautiful day to visit an apple orchard or two and stumbled on this pumpkin patch. We didn't go home with a 40-pounder, but maybe next year.
As usual, it was the mulch that captivated Helen.

Not sure what was going on here. Maybe the pumpkins looked like pillows to her - this is something she frequently does to all things pillowy.

Wow! What an awesome pumpkin patch! Great pictures, Helen seems to love nature, maybe she is a budding tree hugger, like her aunt Jane. xoxoxo Love and miss you.

I just love the first picture of Helen and Mommy amongst the pumpkins, such wonderful faces. And the pumpkins in all of the photos are HUGE. It must have been a banner year for pumpkins in Georgia. The last picture is amazing as Helen is dwarfed by the gleaming, huge pumpkins.

I love the mulch in her little hands. The pumkins are huge, what a neat trip. She is getting so big. I Love her to bits. Aunt Judy

She is so cute! But in that first photo, I hope you kept her away from those pumpkins... they look contagious! hee hee. She really is precious though!

I love the leaf that Helen has in her hand as she walks through the pumpkins with the bumps.
