G&G came down for an impromptu visit and we had a great time. We even got to celebrate Grandma's upcoming b-day (Happy B-day to Cathy today!)

We took G&G to Grant's Farm over the weekend, where the carousel is staple (no luck with getting to the dragon first - bummer!).

One night over the weekend, we ventured out to the Webster Groves carnival in 100 degree weather with our neighbors. Despite the heat, it was a lot of fun!

We are a very stripey family, apparently (on the Ferris wheel)

D and H on the Ferris wheel (other side)

Grandma and Helen on the thing-a-ma-whizzer. I was feeling a little green from the tilt-a-whirl at that point, which we all went on (so fun!).

Helen's very first carnival ride with Grandma (very herky, jerky coaster - oops! Luckily, H wasn't ready to quit despite darkening looks that rounded each new bend - by the end, she was not smiling!)

We went to Union Station and caught a (fake) pony ride and saw the 4th of July parade (how did we not get pics of that?!)

G&G throwing their pennies at Union Station pond (they are so cute!)
