Catch up

Daddy helping Helen on the walker.
Ditto. She's got snoop dog-type drawers going on.
We headed to Savannah, GA on a whim last memorial day weekend. H was great. She seems to like to be dragged around everywhere, so it worked out well.
Savannah has really cool trees. We had to watch Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil after we got home. It's one of my favorite movies and it was fun to see the city and other places of note in the movie. We've now visited all the cities in Georgia with names of G-babies. :-)
Bonaventure cemetery was really cool and not too creepy in the day time.
We had to drive down to Tybee Island so H could get her toes wet in the Atlantic ocean.

A little late afternoon snooze.
Bonus bathtub shot.

P.S. H is doing great as of her 9-month check up a couple weeks ago. Still very long (at 95 percentile) and leveling out in weight (75 - 90) which I guess is a good thing according to the Dr. We are having more and more trouble in the diapering department though. I've been meaning to do a web search on "diaper straight jacket" or "diaper stun gun" and see what comes up. It's become almost a 2 person job, and even that is a process! Oi! Any suggestions?

Goings on

I think this is the first weekend ever that I did not take a single photo of Helen. Perhaps we were too busy? We did go to a Greek festival, twice in one day! It rained early in the day, so we decided to leave and go back. Helen had a lot of fun staying up until 10 pm watching dancing and the carryings on. We all had a lot of fun! These pictures are from a couple weekends ago. Since Judy called and demanded more, here they are!

She found another stash of magazines.

Helen before playing tennis with Biffy and Muffy at the club.
We ventured to Anna Ruby falls, a little north (?) of Helen, GA a couple weekends ago. Helen, GA is a silly little town fashioned to be Tyrolean village or some such theme since it's in the "mountains". Driving up there (it's about an hour and a half away), it did start to look a lot like VT. Since it had so much going for it in terms of name and venue, we had to check it out.
It was a really pretty, stroller friendly walk up to the falls.

I hope this isn't a true reaction to seeing lots of rocks and trees and such. There are many more she will get stuck seeing with us as her parents!

Smiling Through the Tears (and drool)

Picture day! Here are some of Helen's friends. Supreme's on her right Rose and Mark. He's a cutie. Then Ellie and Kourtney. I don't know who the little mite is. She's new. And teacher Ms. S is the best! :-)
