July 4th - 35 weeks. So far, we've had a nice July 4th weekend. On the 4th we ended up at the last minute high-tailing it to my office building and the 16th floor where I work for hopes of good views of fireworks. We saw lots of different sets of them which was really cool. The Stone Mountain fireworks were the best. Yesterday we went on a 2-mile hike/walk at Stone Mountain and then went for a nice swim at our pool (finally - our first time in). Moving around felt good as I'm getting pretty waddley and creaky and sometimes move around like a determined 90-year old without their walker. This next month should be interesting!
Hope you had a good 4th weekend too!

David signed himself up to ride a bike on May 18th to raise money for diabetes. One of his co-workers asked him if he wanted to sign up and ride with him and he got to thinking about it. First, he likes to ride bikes, but then, aha! Diabetes strikes close to home with everything Doug has been through over the past couple of months, so it sounded like an even better idea.If you'd like to find out more about the cause or make a donation, click here:

Ok, and here's the real reason why the tigerfuss blog has been re-launched (well, more so the upcoming blessed event). Here's what I look like now. Happy?
1st note to viewer: first picture taken January-ish (white tank); second picture taken early April-ish (striped shirt); third picture taken late April-ish (brown shirt).
2nd note to viewer: D only takes pictures of me on the weekend when I haven't showered and my hair is a mess. Normally I look much more glamerous.

In order to re-launch this blog, I thought I'd put up some very stimulating pictures of day trip D and I took to Canada last September to go "biking in a foreign country". I probably should have put these pictures up before Christmas so our vistors knew what they were getting in to when they decided to pay thier own visit to the land of the maple leaf.
